There’s nothing better than getting away from the hustle and bustle of life to enjoy each other’s company. A few weeks ago, Gary and I were camped at the lake, so we had some close friends over to grill burgers. And sometimes it just makes it more fun to set a pretty table, so we turned it into a “Glamping Garden Party.” I rounded up a few things I bought on the dollar aisle at Target. Yes, the dollar aisle! (Just one of the many reasons to love Target). It’s dangerous, I tell you! I wanted it to have an organic feel so I used Kraft paper for the table runner, as well as the plates. I loved the pop of peach color in the placemats. I knew I wanted to incorporate succulents, so I found a pretty turquoise succulent arrangement at Lowes. Twinkly lights just make everything better, so my hubby strung them across the trees. I loved the way it all came together. We had ourselves a wonderful evening. We grilled burgers, walked by the lake, chatted about life, and roasted s’mores. Thankful for our good friends who came out and made the night special. You always know it was an evening well spent when you wake up & your hair smells like a campfire:) p.s. – stay tuned for before/after photos of our sweet little camper renovation!
You can purchase all of these items at Target- porcelain lanterns, bulb lights, burlap runner, brown kraft paper, small faux succulents, kraft paper plates, metal chalkboard basket.
Turquoise succulent arrangement can be found at Lowes Garden Center.
